Lighting of the pub Christmas tree, carols & mince pies

Christmas tree lighting in Cottesmore at The Sun Inn. We get a huge beautiful tree from Digby Farm and turn on the lights with the community on Sunday 29th December 2026 at 6pm. There will be carol singers The Cottesmore Military wives choir everyone can sing along, warm mince pies, mulled wine 🍷 and a cosy pub fire 🔥 inside. Great community event please join us 🎄
50th Bucket Night
Sunday 20th December 2026 6pm to midnight
Bucket night, traditionally held on the last Sunday before Christmas. A traditional fun night which includes lots of singing of the bucket song every time someone buys a bucket of beer (8 pints) when the bell 🔔 rings. Bucket night t shirt with every bucket purchase. Starts at 6pm until 12pm
